A few things about me

Hi there, I'm Léa 👋

And since we're going to be working together, we might as well get to know each other a little 😊 I'm an English and Spanish to French translator and localizer, and I bring the same energy to every project as I do to the rest of my life: rigor, good humor, and real attention to detail.

How it all started

From a lost village to your inbox

No dramatic career change, no epiphany — just a language habit I never grew out of.

    Origins

A village in the countryside 🌾

I come from a lost village in the countryside of France.

  2. Orléans Cathedral at the end of a street hung with flags
    The calling

    Languages, always 💬

I've always loved languages. So I started with a bachelor's degree in languages in Orléans, and following translation and interpretation studies afterwards was just natural.

  3. The Pont Saint-Pierre and the Grave dome in Toulouse
    2022 – 2025

    Specialization 🎓

I moved to Toulouse in 2023 and, after three years of study — including a gap year — I graduated with a Master's in Translation and Interpretation, with high honors.

  4. Léa holding a koala in Australia
    2023 – 2024

    Gap year 🐨

I paused my studies to travel to the other side of the world: Australia, then a detour through Japan.

    My own practice 💼

Once I got my Master's degree, I started my activity as a freelance translator.

  • I adapt my offer to your needs, and your budget.
  • I offer direct communication, allowing you to follow the project.
  • I connect you with reliable professionals if I can't help you.

More than specialties

More than specialties: passions!

Every field I specialize in was first a passion, so here's a bit of my World.

Travel 🛩️

I have always liked learning new languages and discovering new cultures. I grew up going to Spain every summer, and in 2024 I decided to go to the other side of the (my) world and traveled to Australia. And because I was so close, why not stopping by Japan? My next stop? Probably South Korea! (I'm currently watching a Korean food show, that's why.)

Beauty 💄

In my college years, I discovered a real passion for cosmetics and fashion. I often like doing creative and extravagant make-ups to express my identity and my style. And yes, I do go out like that, and I love it. College was also when I discovered that daily outfits could be colorful. (Bye-bye black jeans and black tops 👋)

Video games 👾

I can't even remember for how long I've been playing games. Favorite game ever: Dragon Quest (every. single. one.). The one I've played the most: easily League of Legends. An unpopular one I'd advise: Fantasy Life. Localizing games allows me to help French players discover wonderful titles with a tailor-made, immersive experience. (And I get to say that I'm working when I'm playing.)

Marketing 📣

This specialization came from the projects I received, and it came naturally: who better than a consumer to understand your consumers? Marketing is also one of the most creative branches of translation, and I felt like a fish in water right away.
